La Cala is one of the largest and most exclusive resorts in Southern Europe, with three 18-hole golf courses, the only David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Spain and a high Standard, par 3, 6-hole golf course also. The course designer Cabell B. Robinson, the former European Director of the Robert Trent Jones Organization, took the natural lie of the land into account when creating these three courses. The Campo Asia, par 72 measures 5,925 metres, the Campo America, par 73 measures 6,187 metres and the Campo Europa, par 71 measures 6,014 metres. All of them are carefully maintained to ensure play all year round.
